If there is an opposite sex dynamic, some romantic tension will always be involved. It's not the catch all "male and female can't be friends", but within certain parameters of compatibility, romantic tension between male and female will always be created.

This tension in vtubing drives engagement, not sex: yes, people watch charzu and pippa "kino" streams for laughs, but take away the female aspect of the vtuber and you get... well... 1 view male vtubers.

Ideally you would want to have your woman as far away as possible from any social media related job where she is the main "product" being sold. That said vtubing is probably the least cucked influencer type job your gf/wife can get into. Unless she streams 5 hours everyday, maybe has another job on top of that, you can easily have a good relationship around those hours she needs to babysit her chat of simps. Sure she might attract some big ass whale but the vtuber watcher is the least threatening individual in terms of statistics. People she works with, male friends (rumao) and acquaintances are far more dangerous.

Her job pays better but vtubing income is what allows to live comfortably (said on stream). She is looking into going full-time so ramping up her income is definitely a priority, I think she will go "all out" in the coming months.
