They serve different functions but my comment was more on how streamers have often preferred Wraith/Oct/Path over other characters. Mostly because these characters provide the least downtime and more waku waku doki doki plays for the streamer.
I think BH/Seer is required in competitive, then your forward and then support.

Personally though I don't touch Seer or BH outside of my dailies because I don't like relying on scans. Started Lifeline-Watt-Oct-Caustic--Path-Fuse and then now with Valk, I like characters that apply pressure and develop my positioning and awareness without scans.

It's pretty normal for streamers to jump into games/collabs with other streamers. ImperialHal mentioned that RPR was supposed to play with them/TSM some time back but he bailed.

Vtuber managers take care of this stuff and see if stuff is all right or damaging. Considering VSPO managers are former pros or involved with the pro scene in some capacity, I doubt they would stonewall an opportunity like this. Even QP has mentioned that she watches some pro players streams.
