They goofed on me for months but damascus genuinely had one of the strongest designs in the male Vtubers business. The art style might be a bit fucked but separating that he has a top tier design for that model he never uses. I saw a whoretuber recently put out a "drop your png" tweet to rate if she'd have your babies for some stream (amusingly using Maris plap plap audio) and I kept scrolling for like 5 minutes looking at all the male designs and holy fuck they are so bad. Even the ones that were actually human looked like rejected rune factory npcs. Male Vtubers with no schizo factor have designs that feel below gachalife customization options.

Honestly that sounds like terrible advice but I'm apparently weird so maybe my opinion is off. I'd be pretty disappointed in a Vtuber if they have a weird wacky model but aren't weird and wacky themselves. Assuming the first impression is a twitch thumbnail or image on Twitter I'd rather not be lied to. If you're an average dude get an average dude avatar, I'd you're a wacko weirdguy get a weird avatar. Too many male Vtubers are just weird creatures or MMO enemies with funny cosmetics and a regular voice with regular mannerisms, I can't tell you the number of streams I've clicked on that had a weird monster guy and he didn't even hiss once. Haachama only works because she had like 2 years of streaming fairly normal content before she lost her mind, going subversive from the start defeats the point of subversion. If I wanted to do something actually subversive for my context I'd do a bfe asmr stream or something.
