Unfortunately Kiara, in the real world just because you work hard doesn't mean you will be rewarded. It sucks and it's how most of us live, dreams dead and buried.
Maybe you can't cut it as a singer. Big deal. You got so much else going for you so focus on that instead. It sucks but that's the way it is.
