>In her case, however, the views may be kind of low, since her audience is primarily on Twitch rather than YouTube
That's the truth. I was sitting on a Mike stream and he has vocalized how hard it is to grow his YouTube channel which all of his streams are later uploaded to. He gets anywhere from 800~1.8k live viewers, but his YouTube channel hardly grows. It has been around for six years and for four years with a more standardized thumbnail format. Four years ago he'd often get around 1k~2k views on his videos and in the present it is picture related. You can't apply the same things of someone that streams on Twitch then does some uploads on YouTube the same as a YouTube only streamer. It does make me wonder if someone like Lumi is thinking of transferring her audience to YouTube, but I don't know if she has stated if she is sticking on Twitch or not.

I'm unsure if Nene is at the point in which she can reduce the clips. I know it must be a headache to weed out undesirables, taking a hit to your image, and constantly needing to pump something out every day, but she doesn't get a solid 500+ CCV every stream. I can be wrong about this, but to me Nene isn't up that mountain yet and still needs to persevere. At least reconsider lessening the shorts until she goes full time.

I'll continue eyeing shorts and how it affects their channel. Pomu is about to reach a month doing shorts and she has had a *little* increase in sub growth. The super majority of her shorts are clips from streams. I'll see how it pans out for her within a month, and then if Nene pulls back on shorts we will see where that leads in a couple months.

>I was watching Miori from Tsunderia a few days ago, and she said she was planning on cutting them down to basically zero once she hit a certain number as well.
People say a lot of things, Miori has a lot at stake since her parents aren't too keen on streaming as a job. Apparently her mother found her channel so she'd be capable of tracking her daughters growth as well. None the less there will be a period in which she won't be as active due to school.
