That's what happened last time, though. And the vote was delayed by a week. The proposal isn't perfect. I see some long-term issues that /might/ or /might not/ arise from it. But I also see it as a net-positive and, despite saying "more time/discussion/thoughts are needed", nothing of substance has been raised in this thread outside of the initial Lunaito/anonymous feedback. If you come up with an idea to make it better, sure. Share it, discuss it, and then vote to amend the Province proposal.

But I believe it's already good to go into effect, especially since any doubts I'd have are more on the long-term side.

Really glad that peat is getting some love. I'd suggest using even smaller headers for the history and economy section, Rentry's header 2's and 3's are very similar, sorry if that's too pedantic.
Have you considered whaling as a potential subset of the economy? It works well in the arctic regions and produces valuable materials. Whale fat could be processed into oil, and that in turn sold to other nations as machine lubrication.
I love how far back the current history reaches, and having your first settlers migrate due to /meat/'s incursion sets up some interesting implications. I also like how the thread merger is detailed, it makes sense in-universe.
The history makes me want to re-examine /vnug/'s participation in the Trade League, since historically their further inclusion would make sense, although the piracy problem would need to be addressed still.

They absolutely are metacoins. Pekora was a metacoin since a long, long time and Subaru/Miko were often overlooked, "secondary" metacoins. Look at their performance, especially their dividends to price, and if you can, also at their daily swings, since they dip every now and then.

With uncapped adjustments the "floor", or the "base value" of a coin can change drastically. You could see it with Nabi, where she spiked to ~60k since her 0 views/0 subs price was 22k.
Those "base" prices to my knowledge aren't really inherent to a coin or their parameters, it's just a value a coin trends towards, and I think that the coin prices are set on adjustment-to-adjustment basis... which is why Aqua, after spiking so hard right after being uncapped, never fully went down. This is my little theory, anyways, I can be wrong here.

I checked it semi-recently, after the multicoin update rolled out. I believe that the inflation is roughly two times quicker now. Not completely out of control, but definitely significant enough of a change to notice.
Inflation only becomes an issue in regards to trading when selling is discouraged due to how quickly a coin price rises - in other words, where holding a coin passively will likely bring greater profit than actively trading it outside of short periods near adjustments.

How are your trades, Stalkeranon? Enjoying the 'easy mode', as they say?

It is commonly known that the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry is horrible in the US. Take care of yourself, and consider moving to a first-world country.
