You're thinking of her problem with using in-game chat with a dual PC setup. I'm pretty sure she has one of these GOXLRs, in which case she can just hook up a 3mm cable between this port and her gaming PC's on-board audio. In-game chat is always garbage anyway so you don't need an interface going into it. She might have one of the smaller models of GOXLR that doesn't have a 3mm mic out, in which case she could use something like this Y cable adapter to go to two interfaces. My point is there's any number of solutions to the problem and she's been too lazy/using it as an excuse not to talk in-game. I guess it's not often she would need to so I could believe she just hasn't run into the problem enough to wanna solve it.
