If you get a cat that's already a ghost then it can't die!
Death is a part of life and at a certain point you know when you've given your animal the best life it could have. It's still the hardest part of having animals in your family, then you get another and begin the cycle again...such is the blessing and curse of pets.

Did someone say "pirates"? Did you know that the hit manga ONE PIECE is about pirates? Did you know that Hololive sensation and Universal Music Group talent Mori Calliope sang a song for ONE PIECE? Did you know you can listen to that song RIGHT NOW?

>outdated capital ship...then losing it with most of its crew to a one-in-a-million shot.
Is a pretty apt description for both Hood and Bismarck. And yes, Bismarck was new, but her design was based on what Germany was doing 20 years earlier. All in all, the two ships shouldn't have been too mismatched in a duel.

You could just not argue
When you see something dumb, you don't need to reply, or try to own the other person, especially when they're a threadshitter
You don't need to be like this

Throughout my scientific studies and experience, I have learned that one of the most efficient, and easily available, methods of heat reduction is water. Spray your overheating laptop with a garden hose. Heat will be absorbed and you get the added bonus of a clean computer.

Cover gives suspensions, and thankfully they've gotten less stupid over doing so. Like shit with Coco, Haachama, Marine, and Miko where they thought it was "protecting" them from hate. When all it did was isolate them at a vulnerable moment.

Master–slave morality (German: Herren- und Sklavenmoral) is a central theme of Friedrich Nietzsche's works, particularly in the first essay of his book On the Genealogy of Morality. Nietzsche argues that there are two fundamental types of morality: "master morality" and "slave morality". Master morality values pride and power, while slave morality values kindness, empathy, and sympathy. Master morality judges actions as good or bad (e.g. the classical virtues of the noble man versus the vices of the rabble), unlike slave morality, which judges by a scale of good or evil intentions (e. g. Christian virtues and vices, Kantian deontology).

For Nietzsche, a morality is inseparable from the culture that values it, meaning that each culture's language, codes, practices, narratives, and institutions are informed by the struggle between these two moral structures.

The trolley problem is a series of thought experiments in ethics and psychology, involving stylized ethical dilemmas of whether to sacrifice one person to save a larger number. The series usually begins with a scenario in which a runaway tram or trolley is on course to collide with and kill a number of people (traditionally five) down the track, but a driver or bystander can intervene and divert the vehicle to kill just one person on a different track. Then other variations of the runaway vehicle, and analogous life-and-death dilemmas (medical, judicial etc.) are posed, each containing the option to either do nothing, in which case several people will be killed, or intervene and sacrifice one initially "safe" person to save the others.

Opinions on the ethics of each scenario turn out to be sensitive to details of the story that may seem immaterial to the abstract dilemma. The question of formulating a general principle that can account for the differing judgements arising in different variants of the story was raised in a 1967 philosophy paper by Philippa Foot, and dubbed "the trolley problem" by Judith Jarvis Thomson in a 1976 article that catalyzed a large literature. Thus, in this subject the trolley problem refers to the meta-problem of why different judgements are arrived at in particular instances, which are called trolley cases, examples, dilemmas, or scenarios.

The most basic version of the dilemma, known as "Bystander at the Switch" or "Switch", goes:

There is a runaway trolley barreling down the railway tracks. Ahead, on the tracks, there are five people tied up and unable to move. The trolley is headed straight for them. You are standing some distance off in the train yard, next to a lever. If you pull this lever, the trolley will switch to a different set of tracks. However, you notice that there is one person on the side track. You have two (and only two) options:

Do nothing, in which case the trolley will kill the five people on the main track.
Pull the lever, diverting the trolley onto the side track where it will kill one person.

Which is the more ethical option? Or, more simply: What is the right thing to do?
