The real reason is a mix of letting EN grow on their own and only 2 of the ENs coincidentally the ones who have done the most JP collabs Ina and Kiara can speak enough Japanese for a proper collab. The Coco and Hacchama block is somewhat to avoid Chinese antis and also because those 2 talentes were trying to insert themselves into a brand new generation without permission. It wasn't intentional but it is kind of a dick move to force yourselves in and show up your kouhais as soon as they debut.

The reason we even had that AmeMel collab is because Mel holds cover by the balls and they are in no position to tell her no.
