I'd start there. A 3090 is powerful enough to fine tune but expect it to be running for 24+hours at near full load depending on how large your dataset is and how many epochs you want to run for. Hll anon had a runtime for 50+ hours and he has a 4090 which are nearly 50% more powerful than what you and I have in terms of compute power.
Woof. Yea I guess if I'm going to seriously commit to a model I should take some time to really know what I'm doing before proceeding. That's a lot of time for something that'd probably end up worse than what we have...
