A planned multimedia franchise about a theme park zoo of cute animal girls that was dead on arrival (the game literally shut down before the anime even aired), got revived and blew up huge because they let the small anime studio do basically whatever they wanted and the director made kino, and then the execs got greedy and too involved and fired the director which killed the golden goose. They lost their biggest sponsors after accidently implying they had commited fraud against them and turned S2 over to some garbage chink studio run by a washed up director who did give a fuck anymore. And then the producer went on a massive anti-fan and anti-former director shitposting spree and after the second season flopped hard he was removed from all anime projects. The series creator alsi went on an ego trip, is rumored to be behind getting the director fired because he was jelous he saved his dead franchise idea, and pissed off all the fans by fucking the lore hard and screwing over all the S1 characters with S2 and the art show he did. This isn't even half of the shitshow that happened after firing the director and the franchise is basically dead now.

Nothing will ever recapture the comfy of S1.
