Not sure which side of the fanbase you are looking at from to see this. PekoMiko is without a doubt a completely unrivaled combination from the Pekora fanbase side of things, at the very least from the Japanese side because there is no reaction like it whenever they interact, and it helps pointing out that despite their relatively little interaction there is still PekoMiko art pumped out consistently.
It is a dou that is as ingrained into their individual characters as it is a dou.

Although I agree that it sucked that Miko got put out of commission for 3 months because I want nothing more than the both of them to be at the top.
