Having the same experience, getting attention and then ignored
It's probably pretty much purely down to three things in my opinion
>1. Over the extended period of time we interact, there are more chances for me to say some weird or creepy shit that weirds them out
>2. They realize I'm just not the type of guy they'd like to be with as they get to know me more
>3. I'm not confident and constantly have some neediness in my interactions, putting myself down, deflecting things I could take as positive and an unwillingness to take risks
And thinking about it, point 3 can cause point 1 by my unconfident mannerisms coming off as creepy. Point 3 can also cause point 2 by not actully committing to the bee urself attitude making me seem standoffish and boring with not much personality because I hide it all to try and not seem weird or cringe
Alongside fitness, I just gotta learn to throw away the belief that I suck as a person and communicator. I'll still be weird, but I'll eventually have enough confidence to be the individual person I actually am and that's when it'll start coming together
