I think you are missing the point some are making because you are focusing on the ones saying

There are some things that can be clearly seen

1) NijiJP girls top are "spinning their wheels", inclining from special event to special event, only to recline massively in the "mid seasons".
And even that incline was significantly more modest than the one in 2021 (out of which there is still record for the tail end)
2) VSPO is inclining considerably and consistently. Their late 2021 was already displaying an incline, when their collective median rose above 2k and then after the end of CCVID their incline is massive and seemingly without breaks.
3) HoloID for context. Even with the massive incline brought by HoloFes, ID3 and RUST meta, they are unable to match what VSPO is doing right now
4) NijiEN girls. The growth of their original girls only waves is masked by the addition of three poor performers but that is not the only cause for that drop IMO with even Finana and Reimu relapsing to 3 digits.

All in all the point is that most of these NijiJP girls (all but Salome having debuted in early 2020 or 2019?) are spinning their wheels, Nijisanji is unable to grow their female streamers and, like Hololive in 2019, VSPO is in a good pace to overtake them and eat a good part of their market
