If you claim to like winter, you've never experienced true winter.

-40 degrees is true winter, and it's the most painful thing imaginable. You can bundle up all you like, but a gust of wind on a day that cold will cut clean through it. You'll take one breath in through your nose and every one of your nose hairs will freeze. In a handful of minutes your eyelids will freeze together from the moisture in your breath. You'll lose feeling in your legs in under 5 minutes. Stay out for 10 and you'll get frostbite through your gloves. Stay out any longer and you might genuinely hurt yourself permanently. And my neck of the woods gets about two weeks of days like that.
