As a viewer, I look at it this way: If I download this game and fuck around on my computer for a bit for like 15 minutes, I can help my streamer scam $15 out of this shitty company. They're hoping I'm some idiot who will somehow end up whaling on their shitty game, but there's no way that's gonna happen. If I'm someone who values their time more than that, then I'd probably be throwing bits or subs at the streamer, anyway. It's a way for people with no money to help their streamer out, and if you end up getting addicted and wasting your money on some shitty game, then that's on you.
