I've seen some comments about her "not really changing" and I think that's patently false. Perhaps not her attitude, but definitely the dynamic of her streams.
If you ask me, the subculture walk stream was pretty much the cutoff point of the classic era. Up to this point, there was more "gentleness", earnest humor, and an apparent intent of getting along with everyone. Those are probably not the right words, but it's more obvious in the proper zatsu streams where she prepared topics she was interested in beforehand: her first EN Q&A stream, the "floor reps" stream, the "chari de kita" stream, etc. were memorable and you can still find fans in the general that remember this era fondly.
At some point the streams began to feature herself more frequently just googling random things that came to her mind, more derails which pale in comparison to the proper zatsu, beating the drum about how you should love yourself first because others may not love you or something like that. I tried to get in the habit of watching her so I could decide for myself if I wanted to keep up: Postal 2 felt like a Let's Play, vacation comeback stream felt like a vlog, and something about the Minecraft stream yesterday being very community-centric, since you couldn't get the most out of it unless you participated with drawings or in the paywalled Minecraft. Some streams in between, like the Eira collabs, were cuter but I imagine that was more circumstantial than intentional.
It's a far cry from what we had at first, so I hope this makes some of you understand why some of us seemingly schizo'd out.
