Hello there. I am an ambassador from your sister(brother?) thread /mvp/. I have been maintaining an increasingly long spreadsheet cataloging many different male vtubers that have been or are being discussed in mvp.
I come here to ask for help in expanding my list with your favorite male vtubers as long as they are indies or from very small corpos (basically non niji/holo), this include jp only or even other language chuubas. I especially am looking for help in expanding youtube based vtubers, as /mvp/ primarily deals with twitch.

I plan on monitoring this thread for new chuubas in the future, so any links to new chuubas posted in this thread should start being added to the spreadsheet soon. I hope this spreadsheet can be useful also to those in this thread to find new indies to watch. Thank you.

And the spreadsheet for those interested: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Mhfpf9f6qckLBgxgOs4lJp1APLcXfQxQBIGMI_EYvic/edit?usp=sharing

I think the main thing I love about streaming from a social perspective is that I don't feel like I am imposing on anyone socially when they interact with me while streaming. When I make 'online friends' there is always a feeling of social obligation in any kind of interaction I have. For example is somebody responding to me because they actually like me/what I say or are they just responding because that's something you are just supposed to do? These doubts always creep into my mind whenever I interact with somebody online or in real life.
With streaming there is absolutely no obligation to watch whatsoever. A large chunk of people will immediately click off of my stream when they first find it. And anyone who stays is actually truly interested in me. How fucking neat is that. People follow me on twitch purely because they are making a decision that they are choosing to watch more of what you do. (at least non /here/ people do)
The first time I had 10 people watching me I was fucking blown away. Ive never been the object of attention to that many people in my life, at best I was situationally the center of attention but usually with a captive audience in one way or another, but here I am some random mostly forgettable guy keeping the attention of over 10 people on earth for a pretty large amount of time purely by being entertaining. Ah, I love it. I hope I never lose perspective on how cool of a thing this is and become some sort of numberfag.
