the issue is two fold imo. part of it was nijisanji's fault. only 1/3 models was good, the talents were pretty bad at streaming and gaming, and the marketings was thorough garbo. i think an india focused group could certainly find success. india has a sizable amount of weaboos, they have one of the biggest populations in the world. when i lived in japan i would say a good percentage were from india. however, they were also the worst tourists to deal with. cheap, rude, and unwilling to respect local customs and rules. they are only below the chinese in terms of obnoxiousness. this really surprised me because i thought the americans were gonna be the most intolerable, when at worst they were just cringe.

they both do fansa for yume crowds, at the very least. their promotionals at animate and personal messages on birthday merch etc display as much. as for the managements stuff, i got that info from watching majin himself during the era where all of the holostars were doing members talking about shifts internally and managers pushing them to make changes to content a couple of months back. i never said that popular en males (targeted towards westerners) do pandering to yumejos as a hard rule, its just a pattern i've noticed over time with the particularly explosively popular ones. generally men find it harder to watch male vchuuba if they do a lot of that yumejo pandering, which is why i brought it up as a contributing factor as to why there is not really a huge male fan base for the current en targeted male vtubers, which is what the question was originally about - and it isn't even the most prominent or main reason. i wasn't referring to any particular group, or any particular agency. you just assumed and got assblasted about it and picked out ONE part of a huge mass of text because, i don't know, you want to instigate something?
