But all good things must come to an end and the other members of her gang one by one kind of grow up and move onto bigger and better things in life as they graduate school, get real jobs, etc and she knows she shouldn't try to hold them back. Eventually she's left alone, and the convenience store they all hung out in front of closes down. She says goodbye while riding off into the sunset for new horizons all alone.

And then she nearly runs over Nazuna and picks her up from the street and I'm sure everyone here's seen that bit.
