Yeah and my cousin works at Vshojo. Let me tell you, they've got a real complex process over there. They've got an entire division that just runs analytics on stream numbers. Their ultimate metric is simply called the Vshojo Score. I can't even begin to list out everything that goes into calculating it, but they've got a Vshojo Score for basically every single vtuber out there, from corpo to indie to even a good number of obscure 2views. Once a month, they analytics team presents a Vshojo Score report to the head honchos. Basically once a vtuber's Vshojo Score reaches a minimal threshold, the /in/ evaluation starts. Zen gets the order to bring them into a collab and the analytics team closely monitors how the collab effects their Vshojo Score. From there, more significant overtures can be made, like inviting them to the Minecraft server. If the Vshojo Score keeps rising, the social media team starts moving and feeling out for /in/ hype, seeing how readily they can stoke /in/posting. Finally, if the Vshojo Score keeps rising and hits the final threshold, Gunrun makes his move and extends the invitation.
You gotta understand, Vshojo is a very data driven company. Probably leads the industry in terms of analytical technology. No joke, other companies will come to Vshojo and ask for reports on their own talents. And don't think that being member of Vshojo means your Vshojo Score stops being calculated. It's brought up at basically every manager meeting. Officially, nothing happens if your Vshojo Score dips below the final threshold, but my cousin said it wouldn't be pretty if it did happen.
