I'm like $2000 deep into Genshin and frankly at this point it's because of the sunk-cost is kicking me in the teeth.

The story is forgettable enough that the most common request is for a cutscene skip to be added.

The character design feels pretty limited because there are only 5 player character skeletons to work off of.

And the gameplay largely revolves are cycling from one character to use their skill -> burst before cycling to the next character. The only difference is hypercarry teams where you'll do that 3 times and then on the 4th character you'll use normal or charged attacks.
