The thing with /vAI/ is that nobody is making content because nobody CAN make content. ElevenLabs got put behind a paywall, and at the moment there are no good FOSS alternatives.
Looking at the previous attempts to make /vAI/ threads on Warosu, they didn't die because of jannies, rather because nobody fucking posted in them. Most everyone who actually gives a shit about Vtuber voice AI is letting /vAI/ stay dormant because ElevenLabs is not the best long-term solution right now.

Voice AI in and of itself isn't ban-worthy; if that were the case the multitude of test material and the non-NSFW stuff would have gotten removed as well. Making /d/ or /trash/ material with it is however, and during the final threads of /vAI/ that's basically all that was being generated.
