>Is HoloEN reclining or they are were they are since the beginning?
I'll sidestep this question for now, given the questions that started this conversation: >>46061039 ("people here are saying that Niji owns Japan over Cover by a fuck lot still)

>But I was under the impression that Holo was stagnating at around mid 2021 to mid 2022.
Not in the date range you mentioned but, yes, they were for a brief period between March 2021 and October 2021.

To illustrate that, and also to illustrate how much the current disparity between both companies is a product of Hololive ABSURD incline, I'll reach for the FORBIDDEN TECHNIQUE, something that was locked deep into the vaults of this thread because much better ways to visualize data were found and, granted, the way this was done had some deep shortcomings
> THE JP BRO MONTHLY **AVERAGE OF PEAKS** CHART

This is a chart whose records were meticulously kept by some JP bro, and then when VNUMA died this anon that's "speaking" completed with data coming first from only Holostats and Niji-mado, then from vrabi and vstats.

>BIG DISCLAIMER
The average of peaks is a bad metric considering it is possible to calculate the *TRUE AVERAGE* these days
>sum(avg * t) / sum (t)
but, back then, VNUMA didn't keep average of streams, only peaks, so the average of peaks was the only metric the JP bros could pull from the data
The only reason I'm bringing this back after ONE FULL YEAR without touching it is because it is the only surviving record from the data per VNUMA that includes both Hololive and NIjisanji.
>END OF DISCLAIMER

In this chart you can see what was being talked about at >>46062109, which is
>it is not that Nijisanji reclined much
Well, the girls did, they're at low point in this metric and even Salome and several Koshien captains could lift them permanently.
But the boys are batting at the very same level they always did, ahead of 2020 (even with the addition of several "stinkers") and the overall metric is properly stagnated
>a word that is being thrown around for Hololive, but that reflects the truth for NIjisanji

HoloJP? They BLASTED THE FUCK UP in 2020, took a dive with the algo change in the end of that year, stagnated (in this metric) between March and October 2021 and then BLASTED THE FUCK UP again ni all of 2022 and 2023 and now, in that metric, their more than double Nijisanji.

This chart is not as good as the one posted in this thread often, with the TRUE AVERAGE but this is the only surviving record that goes back to the early days of both companies and there is no better chart at this moment to illustrate how high Hololive is flying right now.

tl;dr: Nijisanji stagnated, Hololive skyrocketed
