I made the mistake at looking at the vod again so I'm venting my piece on the JP EN situation in spoiler. This topic has been regurgitated to death by now. Feel free to ignore it. I want to scream into the void somewhere so I can chill out.

this whole situation is so retarded. I'm an EOP. the way the stream went I feel like I'm being discarded. and for what? a JP bro that may or may not stick around. it hurt to hear them say that for the changes "if it makes you sad, it may make someone else happy." No shit. Of course JP will happy getting more JP streams to add to the 7 gens of holo JP. Again, shifting the target audience. I defended fwmc time and time again when they were accused of going to JP because I truly believed that their target audience was EN being in holo EN like they emphasized over and over. I'd say the JP streams they did were extra, not replacing EN. I want them to do well, I really do, but this situation is complete bullshit. Are they being told by mane-chan to do this? was this some cover corpo strategy to aim to get FWMC as bigger reps in Japan for future advertisements? Part of me copes this because I don't want to feel like I'm being cast aside by them. At least then I can direct this annoyance towards some manager whose success I don't personally care about. I don't just have an issue with the time after golden week. I have an issue with golden week too. I have an issue with their whole strategy. The battle plan wasn't a stream where they wanted to discuss the plans and see if it aligns with their fanbase like it sounded like. It was a "here's what we are going to do" and worse yet they said "if you don't like it's ok don't watch" or acted like clips or live TL or watching vods were the same thing. They've been on the fan side before. Surely not even they believe this. Or even saying they'll go over the fun times they had in FWMC morning. Yeah, the last thing I or anyone wants is to be told "hey here's this really fun time you missed! the vod is there but you can't understand it! better hope some clipper gets you a rough translation longer than 3 minutes!" Then they equate it to "what happens if we have a sololive and you can't make it" like fans wouldn't want that. It's completely different! Sololives are very rare opportunities, everyone can enjoy them usually through stream tickets or being in person, and it's a special event. It's totally different from changing the regular program to something different. And here I'm jealous - Holo JP has so much going on for them with Cover being in Japan. Merch. Stores. Events. Specials. More talents. A good chunk of Holo EN content already. What is the point of having a holo EN branch if it's really just a holo JP branch but bilingual? All their points of reason about doing more JP - I want to but I don't buy them. Their reason for wanting subs fast conflicts with what they said in the past about how it's ok if the goal isn't hit, as long as they did it the way they wanted. They took time off for the move. That's ok, but why can't that be factored into here? They have to become desperate now to hit some arbitrary goal they made? haeh? They want to know JP senpai - but they can only do that through lots of collabs? Not DMs? Not calls? That's an issue with being shy, not an issue with not having enough JP streams.
And then they emphasize over and over that they don't want ruffians to miss out on things. Not tweeting at certain times. Not doing guerilla streams. Oh ok, they don't want EN ruffians to miss those so they don't want to do more content then. Not sure if logical but fair. Oh but it's ok if EN ruffians miss out now for JP streams? It makes it hypocritical. They're not perfect. I get that. I like them so much but I just hate this decision.
