Here is a far fetched theory: what if APEX viewership decline was actually the patient zero of CCVID, which spread from that community to vtubers through Towa, Kuzuha, Matsuri, Choco, Ollie and others.

That would explain why VSPO, for instance, got hit so hard and would also explain the lacklustre performance by Kuzuha even before CCVID hit with full force.

It would also explain why APEX is getting such good numbers yesterday and today
