So youtube DOES separate vod views and short views internally. They just pretend these things are the same publicly to push more channels to make shitty shorts for numbers instead.
Also 3M shorts views is roughly as valuable as 3000 wh for YouTube apparently.
Considering Pekora has like 1.27M wh (and that's only including LIVE wh), that's at least as valuable as 1.27B shorts views in under half a month for YouTube.
