Up in the space station, far above the Earth,
An astronaut tended to his cattle's birth,
For in this vastness, with no grass nor fields,
He brought along his herd, for their fate to be sealed.

Through careful planning, and with great care,
He raised his cows, without a single scare,
They grazed on pellets, and recycled waste,
And though it wasn't Earth, they felt it was a safe place.

For this astronaut, they were more than just meat,
His cows were his friends, and they had to eat,
He cared for them, and loved them like kin,
And in his space station, they felt like they could win.

Their milk was pure, their meat was prime,
And in the space station, they had a great time,
For though it was far from what they once knew,
They were content, and their owner was too.

And so it went, on this great frontier,
A man and his cows, with nothing to fear,
For in this vastness, where few dare to roam,
They found a home, and made it their own.
