For reference, Emotional Quotinent is like how you handle your emotions. At times she reminds me of someone I knew who was groomed in the past and had trouble trusting normal people yet would fall for tricks that manipulative people use to get others to trust them.

A lot of people love a vtuber so they will praise them regardless of what they do. Additionally, a lot of vtubers don't have much artistic taste. So what sometimes happens is someone gets a downgrade and people that like the chuuba will get tribal and defend it. Doesn't help that official discords are a hugbox.

Lateral upgrades can be this but I haven't seen a complete upgrade (See: KeysTomama, or usually other artist chuubas) get any hate.
