I genuinely have no idea what her goal is with this, I doubt there really is one. My best guess is there's something psychological going on that's making her not want to be involved with Hololive, especially streaming or talking to us, and rather than actually deal with it at all she's just trying to ignore it and pretend nothing is wrong.

I mean, just look at literally any other vtuber, or any other streamer for that matter. They usually say something before going on a long break, or say something during it if they end up having to leave unexpectedly. Or at the very least say something about why they were gone when they come back. Gura now does none of these.

I agree, but I also know it won't work. Like >>59392523 said, she might say something about it after being asked enough times, but then just go right back to doing this again.

Everyone seems to be moving away from the actual point I was getting it, so I guess I'll spell it out. Haachama has literally been recovering in the hospital getting medical treatments, yet she still felt like she should apologize for keeping everyone in the dark and for not being able to come back sooner.

With Gura we still don't really have any idea what's going on with her and despite saying she'll try to do better on several occasions, we always end up right back where we are and she doesn't really seem to show any indication that she feels she should let her fans know why she keeps vanishing or even some sort of timetable for when she will be around.

Yeah, I have to agree, unfortunately. For a while I could believe she really did just have a lot of stuff going on that got in the way, but this feels very deliberate. Yes she probably still has lots of hololive stuff she's doing, but that doesn't explain why she can't even post a tweet or member post about it. It's a long time since she's done anything like that.

At one point this comparatively small period of no streams would have been concerning, but now it's just "it's only been 5 days". And now that 3 weeks is the new standard set, I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes "it's only been a month" and maybe even "it's only been 2 months".
