Have you ever worked somewhere, and a coworker left on bad terms with management, but good terms with the team? Sure, maybe you don't talk about that person in front of management, but among friendly coworkers, if you want to talk about them, you just do it.
You don't say "I dinner with 'that guy' and his wife last night, he seems to be doing alright."
You don't treat them as he-who-shall-not-be-named, or some other bullshit.
You just say "I had dinner with Tray and his wife last night" and it's not like nuclear bomb goes off.
To hold back is to let management control you even more than they already do.

So in that sense, I am glad that Holomem aren't afraid to pretend like she no longer exists beyond the screen. Maybe that's breaking character? Sure?
