Most of last year, I was a massive Haachama fan (I posted almost all of her generals from the board's opening -> August) and my whole sleep schedule was based around the chance that she'd be streaming in the morning while she wasn't on hiatus, even if it meant I was waking up around 5 a.m. every day. The hiatuses kinda wore on me though, so when someone else started posting the threads in September I was fine with it. I gave up on learning JP around then, and felt bad that I wouldn't ever understand much of her. I had to miss a few weeks of streams due to real life commitments and it totally broke the spell she had in me, but I still caught all her VODs mostly out of sunk cost. Eventually though, I started watching a 2view, her sense of humor was basically perfect for me, and she basically immediately became my favorite vtuber, and I gave up on keeping up with Haachama.
I'll still watch her if she's on when I am not busy & watch vods of her English streams, but I don't base my life around her anymore.
