Modifiers to the target success number are a staple in the classic World of Darkness rather than the new Chronicles of Darkness. It works, but it's a powerful buff for large dice pools. You can also dabble with X-again or 1's removing successes. Those qualities of rolls could be modified by Chuubanite artifacts, and so on. Basically, it'd let specialized equipment have interesting effects on the rolls outside of of course their primary function, which is having a narrative effect.
Not sure if you've used it before, but for balancing's sake you can always check probabilities of results/number of successes with https://anydice.com/..
You'll need a custom function if you want to simulate nWoD-style rolls, but I can share my function that I found works well if you want to.

I don't have any tricks up my sleeve left, it would seem, since you can completely recreate my strategy and reasoning at this point, I'm pretty sure. In my trading, I rely solely on good fundamentals and confidence in my models/trade evaluation methods which is why I figured that I will eventually be surpassed on the Returns Report's trading section. The strangest thing about the idea you talk about is that I discussed it previously in the thread anonymously and no one picked it up, people saying that it wasn't useful. It has been several months and I knew of only one other person who has arrived at it, and now I can say that there are two, congratulations.

Regarding sharing things publicly: For me, the main fun I've had with the game is trying to figure out what works and what doesn't, what makes the market tick and how to maximize profits and (most importantly) long-term returns on dividends. This has kept me entertained even throughout the content drought around Fall. I don't want to spoonfeed people directly and thus spoil people's fun if they enjoy the game in the same way I do, but I also don't want to stay silent and keep everything behind closed doors. This is why the Returns Report is public, so people can evaluate and adapt their performance and strategy.

I also value the thread. A lot. I know that just saying this doesn't prove that it's true, but I hope that my actions do speak for themselves. As I said -- anything I'd say there I wouldn't have posted here. If you decide to go through with it (I'm leaving the logistics to you), feel free to contact me, if you don't want to, don't feel comfortable doing so, or think it'd be a detriment to the thread, that's also fine.

Ina doesn't have to spike tomorrow for you to profit. By buying into her and holding her for one dividends, you're missing out on maybe 500-700$ in divvies compared to buying Hololive (at current prices, you can buy 3 Ina for the price of 1 Holo), which I don't think is a massive trade-off.
