Remember, if you are a male and have the ability to be entertaining on stream and/or make interesting video content, you can already succeed as a normal streamer/youtuber and do not have to surrender your creative freedom or part of your earnings to Cover (who don't provide value proportional to their revenue split). You will start from nothing but the ceiling is much higher. The installed viewer-base for Hololive is NOT worth it, especially considering it is already proven that Holostars only get a fraction of those viewers. Even among V-tubers agencies, men are much more successful at Nijisanji, on top of having a more favorable contract and no need for game permissions.

Men do not need a virtual avatar because your viewers absolutely don't care what you look like if you're male as long as you're entertaining (and don't have an extremely annoying voice).

Women however aren't even given a chance if they are not attractive and therefore need the crutch of an avatar. Don't blindly chase a fad if you actually have talent only to get screwed out of your own success.
