It's really difficult to catch up especially with how few clips there are of the older waves.
A lot of their best moments also aren't advertised much, like you'd have no idea where Finana's egg meme came from because the stream it originated from was a deleted Twitch stream from their first month.
Generally you can get away with just watching their most popular streams since those are the ones people will reference the most. Like Pomu's God Knows 101 karaoke or her Metal Gear Rising stream or the various creative/schizo streams.

On the other hand though having a large backlog can be nice if you suffer from dead hours. I wish I wasn't caught up on every Pomu/Elira/Rosemi/Selen vod so I could watch them to fall asleep. Sometimes I still put on Pomu's zatsudans though, her voice is so comfy to listen to!

ps I wish Pomu would do another Da Pompky stream but I think even she forgot about that character.
