Since it wasn't really possible to give a proper answer in chat when asked.
As a numberfag I feel it's an interesting issue to tackle.
>is it a fast grow [compared to indies]?

We cloud assume growth was talking about subcount and not growth in viewers, since Kiki didn't grow yet on that part. It's important to remember subcount is a bit of an off metric as it doesn't transfer that well into viewership or donations.

Still talking about subs... compared to /here/ chuubas first
Beatani, Pippa and Lumi all got 1K membership in about a week or less. Pippa and Lumi both had a corpo to back them up (even if small). Bea was by herself. Koopa took a about 3 weeks to reach 1000 members, faster aswell.
Nadeshiko is still in the 700 subs 2 monthers after model debut (4 months since first VODs)
So Kiki is faster than Nadeshiko and slower the the others.
If you add /wvt/ anons turned vtubers, it's mostly slower from them, naturally from being contained in one thread in trash. Eira youtube stopped at 500 subs when she moved to Twitch (1K2 atm). They however had often 20~50 viewers even with low subcount due to the nature of the thread.

Now regarding more general indies if you take literally anyone who started posting content, of course Kiki is in the very very top like anyone with a few viewers. The vast majority of vtubers start knowing no one, staying under 2~3 viewers for one or multiple months, and then quit. Compared to most indies no one will ever hear about, Kiki is fast. Of course, those vtubers didn't have a thread here.
The ones that are easy to remember having an audience here are often pretty
successful so hard to be compared to.

Ideally the only relevant comparison would be against vtubers with very similar inital context and shown to a same audience, but there's really not much of that for Kiki.
All in all there is very little meaning to be found being compared to an unknown mas of vtubers with different circumstances, it's maybe better to wonder if it's fast ofr the goal you had fixed yourself.

She may have simply wanted to reassure herself and her anxieties about how she is doing as a vtuber, but I felt I had to show how pointless that thought was.
