People sometimes forget, but Marine was a direct Mel nepo hire. Marine probably would have been very unlikely to get the holo gig without having Mel on the inside putting in a word for her, since back in those days a pretty big chunk of holo's hiring practice was to just hire the friends of existing talents. Pretty interesting to see how much Marine has taken advantage of the opportunity that Mel gave her, compared to what Mel herself has done in the same time.
