I agree, I didn't feel alienated watching the anime. I am glad that the animations studio didn't butcher the fighting scenes.

I didn't get this one at first, then later on I get the context of what is happening. I might be wrong, what I think of Earth vs Space is that the space people and flexing about they are born outside of the Earth or being born on the different planet.

True, I like the character developments as well. There are small ones and the big one. The big one was Guel's character, he is an asshole for reasons. The second duel made him realize that he's just a tool and unappreciated then Mercury changes that.
