I see what went wrong. Bijou had the 3 dot Marker, but she thought she had the 2 dot marker. Bijou wasn't supposed to be in the corner at the start of that mechanic. She was supposed to be with the group and would swap with the person with the 1 dot marker after the AOE attack hit them and then the 2 dot marker would take its AOE attack and swap with the 4 dot marker.

The NIN was the 2 dot marker and didn't want to be in position and stack on top of Bijou because that would have killed Bijou who was in the wrong position. So the NIN picked a spot in between Bijou and the rest of the team which meant the rest of the team got hit with the 2 dot marker's AOE when they shouldn't have and didn't have enough HP to survive the group attack that followed.

So, it was Bijou's fault.
