I would argue that NijiEN at its height in 2022 was even worse than Vshojo. In fact it basically felt like the trashy stereotypes of Vshojo that people posted on the catalog when Nyanners and Veibae were around but with guys, and with an infinitely worse fanbase as an extra kick to the teeth.
