this is an unwise mindset. of course there's going to be vtubers that will solely see you as free art machine, artists have to deal with that in every community. just understand that people like that are real and be cautious with new chuubas you meet. thats the case with meeting anyone new online.
also what >>73131578 said, if you're gonna come here wanting to draw chuubas for money you have to make yourself known as a person that draws chuubas. people arent gonna NOT commission you because youve made fanart, dont worry about that. People are gonna commission you so they can see more art out of you and support you while youre at it. Fanart helps with connections and making yourself known, and in turn you can have people vouch for you to get your stuff verified on VGen. You dont HAVE to make stuff for free but it certainly helps with getting a bigger portfolio and then commissions. You may not want to draw small chuubas buit ultimately i think theyre the people more likely to support an artist starting out on commissions.
your stuff is gorgeous and i want to see more of it! its good you want to start taking commissions on VGen aswell, its just as simple as either getting sent an invite by the team themselves or having someone already verified on there giving you a code. taking commissions outside of VGen/before getting on there helps aswell. ganba, get your stuff out there!
