I don't see how her qualifiers have anything to do with an "ironic veneer". It's obvious that one of Mori's biggest worries is making people feel left out and causing some kind of peer pressure on people. Day 1 she had abnormal stream times because she wanted to cater to as many timezones as possible. She'd even apologize when she'd get messages from people who were stuck doing VOD reps.
Her "you don't have to like what I like" spiel just comes from a place of concern so other people don't feel forced to like what she likes and that they shouldn't feel bad for having different opinions.
Hell personally I have complained sometimes that she's overly accommodating to everyone but that empathy is also one of her biggest strengths and why she's so endearing. It doesn't have shit to do with an "ironic veneer".

So did Kiara during the Halloween collab, and nobody gave a shit. If they wanted her gone for the NDA alone, the GTA stream would have been grounds for termination.
