So let me get this straight, cover is designed around the exploitation of both fans and talent.

The fans are exploited by the talent, they target weak men and schizos who form parasocial relationships with the talent producing revenue. This may be known to some talents while others are blissfully unaware.

The talent is exploited by cover, cover uses the talent as a shield and for revenue. For example, rushia attempting to get her pussy smashed like a normal human causes the “controversy” and cover ultimately receives no criticism of their business model when she has done nothing wrong.

Am i missing or miss-understanding anything?

Both Cover and Hololive are successful & recognizable brand names and logos which is one factor of their incline whereas Anykara and Nijisanji are not.

Serious question because I'm honestly curious about this because I'm completely clueless.
Lets say a new gen debuts and they see everyones numbers, do they have the power to intentionally buff or debuff talents with their schedules, just so the "face of the gen" would grow even bigger because they see a potential for the new Pekora or whatever?
