In the context of that time period, the second tweet was quite bad - because it accused fans of "attacking" their talents, when all the Kroniis were doing was having a relatively sane conversation about her sudden change in content direction and whether that would continue. It gave the beggars and anti-idol fags an excuse to smear the entirety of the holo fanbase as well.

But the first part is the clincher here.
Things were fucking GRIM for EN in 2022, and we were without EN3 for so damn long that the mindset of "even if EN3 debuts, nothing will change" started going around. Most anons were at the end of their ropes, and had already assumed that most of the new girls - if they ever debuted - would go full homo throating from the outset. And that if we had at least ONE or TWO girls that were slightly CGDCT, we would maybe be ok.

EN3 debuting and becoming a COMPLETE CGDCT GEN was so out of the blue that almost everyone in the fanbase was fucking shocked.
It showed that at least the talent scounts, and the newly instated management, were not specifically looking for homo oriented girls, and with Jap's linkedin pronouncement we finally understood that the talent scouts were firmly in the CGDCT camp.

So now, in retrospect, the first statement changes the context of the conversation.
The girls do whatever they fucking want. It just so happens that Cover has started recruiting CGDCT girls, so they would naturally want to stay CGDCT.

It's just, none of them wants to take it, because they think their fans (on reddit, twitter etc.) will cancel them if they say they just want to interact with girls.
Or, more importantly, the first one to do so will probably tank a lot of heat.
It's times like this where I wish there was someone like Coco in HoloEN, someone not afraid of management or homobeggars and just puts her foot down in terms of branding with her head held high...

Arguably this tweet - which was meant to help Kronii at the time - is the ONLY good thing that the CGDCT girls faction has received throughout the lifetime of this godforsaken account.
