Phase Connect and VShojo are the two largest western vtuber companies and there's a massive lack of talent in the EN vtuber scene. It's completely predictable that the moment NijiEN collapses those companies will swoop in to hire Pomu, Selen, Rosemi, Elira, Millie, Enna, Nina, etc just to avoid them going to a competitor.
