>This seriously needs to be killed off early. No, vtubers including Holos are not fucking characters. They're avatars. Their lore and kayfabe are paper thin and often ignored completely, and they often end up talking about extremely personal things like family stories, personal tragedies, illnesses, etc. They don't read a script, they simply act as regular streamers with a 2D avatar and a thin veneer of lore window dressing added on top. Anyone pretending that these girls are equivalent to VAs is either coping or hasn't taken the time to think through things at all.
