/vt/ - Virtual Youtubers

I prophesied months ago that drama would be the next meta for vtuber growth, as it is with many communities, and I was right. It resulted in explosive growth and support for the winners, at the expense of another, such is the nature of drama.
My next prediction will be that this growth is hard to sustain, and it will ultimately be a detriment to the people who gained from this drama unless they shift gears to shake off the parasites while growing even more to drown out fleas. Some have hope to grow their communities beyond drama such as the one that looks like hatsune miku donald duck, the others who cling to the topic have what is equivalent to stage 4 cancer, there is little to no hope for their audience.
I may not be part of this community anymore to make data driven insights but I do have a PhD in being Terminally Online. I'll check in from time to time with great interest and I'll jerk myself off to being right once again when things nosedive further.
