Most groomers go for vtubers instead of fleshies because they are easy prey too due to self steem issues, most think of themselves as ugly even if they arent, because else they would be fleshcamming.
In general if you try to get into a relationship with someone you have never seen and live in the other side of the planet something is wrong with you deep down and it is very likely you are either so touch starved you will try to hit on any girl that gives you attention (sexpest) or you despair has convinced you the only way to get laid is to become manipulative and you are trying to gaslight (groomer)

Healthy people dont try to seduce vtubers, most of the time the girls just come to them instead, they dont need to. If you are popular with vtuber girls you are also popular with women in real life: many sucessfull male vtubers keep taking about how flirty some of them are, etc.

If you are the initiatior you are probably a sexpest or a groomer like in 99% of the cases, dont even try. Think of women like cats, if they come to you is fine but if you come to them they will leak your dms

Not everyone is like this - most in fact arent. Most people are good people. It just so happens that the twitch seen is insanely overpopulated by such creatures so they are overrepresented.
Blackmail exist and it's common. Gaslight exist and is common. Using and abusing position of power is also common. For reference, see literally every twittlonger written.
Women come into men all the time, vtubers date their mods all the time nothing bad involved. But groomers and sexpest are so blatant in their acts that if someone is called either of them they probably are.
Honest people usually keep their shit for themselves and they arent noticeable.
If you see for example someone who is a mod in 50 chuubas chat, he is called a groomer, and he probably is.
If you see for example someone who reply to every female vtuber in twitter he is called a sexpest and he probably is, not because those actions necessarily make them groomers or sexpest, but because of the SHEER amount of sexpests and groomers the vtuber indie scene has, to the point barely any one watches small vtubers except if they plan to manipulate someone small or to use it as tinder with anime

Interestingly this is also well known to the point most people complaining about groomer boogieman are also groomer themselves using propaganda tactics. The biggest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he doesnt exist etc
Just ask around every single female vtuber will quickly complain about how many creeps and gaslighters try to slid into their dms on a daily basis
