Happy Birthday /lig/. Been a hot minute since my last post, but I figured our 2-year was a proper time to be a blogposting faggot and formally say goodbye.
I know it's pointless as a nameless anon trying to make a sentimental post but I owe it to the posters who made my time here so enjoyable the last 2-ish years; it would be wrong not to thank you in some way. Participating in that dreary beach collage thing around the end of last year was one of the highlight moments of this thread for me, and I'm saying that as someone that's been posting regularly since day 1. I didn't even realize as I was trying to squeeze in one last edit onto that canvas that it would be the last time I opened the thread until today. I woke up the following morning and a night turned into a day, and days turned into weeks and for the first time in almost two years I felt no desire to open the thread that had been my home for so long. I easily spent a good combined day or two of my life just making OC and edits during this time, and all of it made being a vtuber viewer a more active and enjoyable experience. Participating in birthday cards, jiggies, group OC projects, editing Coqui eating spicy wings into a 6 minute compilation and just making eachother laugh with stupid posts, clips, and edits, etc.
Even though the thread is barely recognizable to me at this point I can still see the parts of it that made it so enjoyable in the first place, the individual posters that made being a ligger so worthwhile. Despite only being anonymous words on my magic computerboxscreen it still feels like I really got to know some of you over this time, either by shared interest in a specific streamer or just the greater indie "scene" as a whole. After a shitty day at work or an upsetting phone call it was comforting to be able to just sink back into the familiar chaos of this place at any moment.
So thanks for making this such a fun place to hang out the past two years, but more importantly for making it easy to escape the bad things in life for a little while. To those of you that still believe in this place, I hope you and your oshis have a great year.

Kino Edition

>What is /lig/?
/lig/ is a thread for viewers to find, share, and discuss indie vtubers who have on average 500 viewers or more.

>Why /lig/?
Large indie vtubers have more net fans, but they are outnumbered by 2views by the thousands. This is a thread for the VIP, regardless of what language they stream on.

>Can I shill my 499view oshi here?
Considering averages fluctuate widely, all the way down to 100 is reasonable. The minimal requirement however is being Twitch partner or the YouTube equivalent in numbers.

>Wait isn't that one a corpo?
For historical reasons, small companies are fine temporarily as long as they have one talent at 500-ish.
