An interesting thing to think about without abolishing the dividend pools (which I think they should) is for that consecutive stream streak/number of streams to apply outside of the dividend pools, basically slapped on top as a bonus (or a "baseline"). Combined with relatively low prices this would make a lot of steady-but-low-view coins much more viable.
Either way, I think it's nice as a metric, but it comes with some caveats and I doubt it does enough on its own, it would be much more effective if it was paired with a major overhaul of dividends in general.
I wish there was an alternative money sink and play style, such as say, financial instruments.

You're also wrong, the dividends on their own do differentiate between different Holos right now, but they are consistent enough for the market for everyone to basically figure out a decent dividends-geared wallet. That's about all I have to say for someone arguing in bad faith, though.

I agree that reps should matter and that the point of the game is to encourage watching the streamers, or at least getting a pulse of Hololive streams in general. That being said, I'm not sure if dividends are the tool to tackle this, rework of the adjustment and potential introduction of financial instruments should handle it.

I have a theory regarding what happened.
As we know, /morig/ chuubanite absorbs thermal energy, this is what drives the Underworld climate and why objects containing high concentrations of Mori-type chuubanite are cold to the touch. It would seem this thermal energy is passively being stored into the chuubanite. It was known that this energy could be depleted by some processes; a deadbeat's skeleton consumes chuubanite while growing and healing.
Here, it would seem the Risuner witch has found a way to trigger the sudden (and explosive) release of all the energy accumulated in a Mont Mori diamond.
However, this brings the question, would all diamonds contain as much energy? This diamond might have been sitting in /morig/ absorbing heat for eons. A diamond grown in /risu/ would have /risu/ chuubanite instead of /morig/ chuubanite, so you might need to infuse the chuubanite with energy manually, since it wouldn't absorb heat passively. This is a process done by /kfp/ to power their flamethrowers with energized chuubanite, so they may have insights there.
The magic spreading out in a variety of elements makes perfect sense; /risu/ magic seems to very depending on the color of the light diffracted through the gem. Diamonds diffracts light into a very differentiated rainbow because of its high IoR, so accordingly its magic powers could be differentiated into a variety of elements. This leads me to believe any diamonds could have the same "type" of magic, not only /morig/ diamonds.
